In loving memory of Rino Rebellato, 83 years, of Sudbury, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 at the Pioneer Manor Sudbury. He was born in Italy and married Lina (Duguay) in 1946 in Sudbury. Rino had been a miner at INCO retiring in 1978 with 30 years service. He was a skilled woodworker and inspired artist creating beautiful oil paintings and sketches. The outdoors was Rino's sanctuary where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. A fitness enthusiast he also enjoyed swimming. A proud and strong willed man he distinguished himself with his determination and commitment to always do the right thing. Beloved husband of Lina (Duguay) Rebellato predeceased 2003. Loving father of Shirley Horeck predeceased (husband Brian of Blind River), Gloria Rebellato (husband Clem Lavoie) of Sudbury, Carol Comtois (husband Michel) of Monkland, Marie of Sudbury, Nicole predeceased, Tony (partner Inta Zarin) of Sudbury, Linda predeceased, Karl of Oshawa, Harvey (wife Sandy) of Sudbury, Gerry of Oshawa and Tina of B.C. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear son of Annibale and Maria (Ongarato) Rebellato predeceased. Dear brother of Amadeo predeceased, Bruno (wife Susie) and Albert both of Sudbury and Gino predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at 3 p.m. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
