Prisque served in the Pointe Coupee Militia during the American Revolution. He is listed on the 1770 militia as Prise Laviqueur age 27(Churchill, p.326) and in the 1777 militia as Presque LeVigneur (Churchill, p.330).

He is recognized by the Sons of the American Revolution, but to date no applicants have applied to the Daughters of the American Revolution under his name.
