Marie Joseph Napoléon Blanchet was born on 21 Dec 1872 and was baptized two days later in Saint-Calixte parish in Plessisville. He was the son of Eusèbe Blanchet and Flavie Bolduc. Godparents at Napoléon's baptism were his uncle François Xavier Blanchet (son of Ambroise Blanchet) and Felicité St-Laurent (daughter of François Xavier St-Laurent). Napoléon married Emilie S Pinette on 15 Jun 1896 in Biddeford, York, Maine; they had at least four children between 1897-1916. Napoléon died at age 62 on 13 Dec 1935; he was buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford, York, Maine.
