Wife of the late Alcide Payment, predeceased in 1981. Loving mother of Rhéal Payment (Carmen) of Sudbury. Dear sister of Fernande Godbot (late Eugène) of Kirkland Lake. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Denis Payment (Sheryl) of Sudbury and Michelle Proulx (Ronald) of Hanmer and by her great- grandchildren Gilles, Isabel, Sabrina, Chloé and Brody. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family extends its appreciation to the staff at Ramsey Centre of Pioneer Manor for their kind and compassionate care given to Merilda. In keeping with Merilda's request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
