Paul Leduc's Mother Passes In 77th Year Mrs. Joseph Shehyn, mother of Paul Leduc. K.C. registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada and former Ontario Minister of Mines, died last night at a local hospital after a short illness. In her 77th year, she was the widow of Senator Joseph Shehyn. The former Josephine Beliveau, she was born in Montreal, a daughter of the late L. J. Beliveau and his wife, the former V. Larue. Twice married, her first husband, Napoleon Leduc, whom she married in 1886, predeceased her In 1889. In 1902 she was married to Senator Joseph Shehyn. He died in 1918. She had resided in Montreal until 1911 when she took, up residence in Quebec. Coming to Ottawa in 1931, she made her home with her son, Mr. Leduc, at 344 Daly avenue. She had worshipped at Sacret Heart church. She leaves one other son, Henri Shehyn of Alvida, Que.; two brothers, Armand and Charles, both of Montreal.
