Isaie Lemay & Julie Pierre had children at Lotbiniere some of who immigrated with them to to US in the 1850s where they died at NewCanada, Ramsey, MN. A son that went with them, Joseph Lemay, returned to Canada and was prominent in Manitoba as a friend of Louis Riel and an MLA in the first parliaments when Manitoba came into confederation in 1870 (se Memorable Manitobans).
