Godfrey Dauphinals Duffina departed this life at the home of his son in the township of Wheatland, Monday, May 9. 1904, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the advanced age of ninety-two.
Deceased was a pioneer settler in this county, and had always been a highly respected citizen.
He leaves five sons, two of whom, Derrick and Merrill, are residents of this city, and five daughters, two of whom, Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Morrow, reside here.
Funeral services at St. Patrick's church, Shieldsville, Wednesday forenoon, after which the remains will be brought to this city and laid besides those of his wife at St. Lawrence cemetery.
