This person Achille Tardif is the same person whose baptismal record names him "Louis Archibald Tardif" He was born 9 Aug 1841 and baptised the same day at Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska. His death record is the same and lists him as 76 years old which also is consistent with him being Louis Archibald. He married Emma Bard.

There are a few records that name his mother as "Hortense Roy" or "Hortense Desjardins." There are more than one like this. But the baptismal record shows "Hortense Levesque" and so do most of the other records. So the credibility goes with "Levesque"
