Biographie Gauthier Romeo-Adelard
Baptism in November 1923 at Notre Dame Church in Southbridge, Massachusetts, and his godparents were, Romeo Gatineau and Olivina Gauthier.
Died on August 27, 1967, he was hit by a motor vehicle while crossing the street by Thomas Variety Store on East Main Street in Southbridge, MA. There were two vehicles that were involved in this accident. The first vehicle was operater by a Mr. Tetreault of Southbridge. He was the one that hit my father first, sending him into the second vehicle that was operated by a Mr. Jullian of Southbridge. The operater of the second vehicle was found to be responsible with the death of my father even though the first vehicle caused the accident.

Romeo A. Gauthier SOUTHBRIDGE - The funeral of Romeo A. Gauthier, 44, of Route 131, West Dudley, who died in Harrington Memorial Hospital of injuries here after being struck by a car Saturday night, will be held at 8 a.m. tomorrow from the Ernest Tetreault Funeral Home with a High Mass at 9 a.m. in Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in the New Notre Bame Cemetery.
He was born in Southbridge, son of the late Wilfred and Josephine (Sansoucy) Gauthier, and was an employee of the Vets Cab Company. He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Gauthier leaves his widow Mary C. (Smith) Tetreault, two daughters Teresa and Zina Beth Tetreault, and a son, Robert, all of West Dudley, and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Appley of Southbridge and Mrs. Mary Lachapelle of Woodstock, Conn.
